Describes how Kovid Finance Private Limited collects, uses, shares and protects personal information, consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable RBI directions on data governance.

  1. Information we collect

    We collect only what is necessary to assess, grant and service a credit facility, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

    • Identity and contact information, including PAN, Aadhaar and address
    • Financial information, including bank statements, GST returns and financial statements
    • Credit information obtained from credit information companies, with your consent
    • Technical information collected when you use this website, including IP address and pages visited
  2. How we use it

    Personal information is used to verify identity, assess creditworthiness, disburse and service loans, recover dues, prevent fraud, and comply with statutory reporting requirements. We do not sell personal information to any third party.

  3. Credit bureau enquiries

    We obtain your credit information report only after you have given separate, specific written consent. We report your repayment conduct to credit information companies as required under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005.

  4. Sharing

    Information may be shared with credit information companies, co-lending partners, service providers acting under contract, auditors, and regulatory or statutory authorities where required by law. Service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may use the information only for the purpose for which it was shared.

  5. Retention and security

    Personal information is retained for as long as the relationship subsists and thereafter for the period prescribed by law, generally five years. We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

  6. Your rights

    You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, seek correction of inaccuracies, withdraw a consent previously given, and lodge a grievance. Requests may be sent to the contact address below and are answered within 30 days.
